ABOUT NEGREROS COUNSELING
Latecea Negreros, Licensed Mental Health Counselor
I graduated with my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2017 and I have been practicing counseling in Indiana since October 2016. I became a fully licensed counselor in 2020. I have worked with a wide range of clients with varying presenting concerns. I specialize in working with people who have endured trauma, stress, depression and anxiety symptoms.
I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I find it important to be collaborative in creating a treatment plan that best fits your needs. I utilize EMDR (Eye Movement, Desensitization, and Reprocessing), motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I believe in the importance of using evidence based practices. It is important to develop a client centered therapeutic relationship. I believe for my clients to advocate for themselves and the treatment that they find beneficial. I have found clients, after a session, feel better of having a safe space to process thoughts, feelings and emotions.
We are here to support you in the process of sharing your story in your own time and in your own way. Each session is conducted via telehealth and typically lasts between 53–60 minutes.
What can I expect during a session?
